MINEHEAD SUMMER TOUR
Over the weekend 24/25th June the Orchestra held two concerts in Minehead and Dunster.
On Saturday 24th we held a concert in the Tennant's Hall in Dunster Castle. We played for nearly three hours with occasional breaks to allow the Musketeers outside to discharge their weapons to the tune of some very loud bangs and lots of smoke!
The Castle itself helped to create a superb atmosphere and enhanced the sound of the music.
During the evening the Orchestra gave an impromptu concert in our hotel for the benefit of the other guests (and ourselves!)
Sunday saw us in the Bandstand at Blenheim Park, Minehead. The weather was good and we had a very appreciative audience, the majority of whom stayed to listen for the whole afternoon!
A lovely setting with a wide range of music for all ages.
